Mentorship

Guided growth,
every step of the way.

Training gives you the curriculum. Mentorship makes sure it actually lands — through structured, ongoing guidance from practitioners who've done the work.

Mentorship formats

Three ways to be mentored.

Whichever path you're on, mentorship is built around your goals, not a generic script.

1:1 mentorship

A dedicated mentor paired to your learning path from day one — weekly check-ins, project feedback and career guidance.

Group mentorship

Small cohort circles where you learn alongside peers, review each other's work, and get shared mentor guidance.

Career mentorship

For graduates and professionals — portfolio reviews, interview prep and introductions into the EdTech and L&D industry.

The process

How mentorship works.

1
Tell us where you are

Share your background, your learning path (or the skill you want mentorship in), and what "progress" would look like for you.

2
Get matched

We pair you with a mentor whose experience fits your goals — instructional design, eLearning development, LXD strategy or professional practice.

3
Set a rhythm

Agree a cadence (usually weekly) and a few milestones for the first month, so every session has a clear purpose.

4
Build in public

Bring real work — modules, storyboards, prototypes, CVs — mentors give feedback on artefacts, not just ideas.

5
Graduate forward

As you complete your path, mentorship shifts toward portfolio, positioning and the next opportunity.

Booking moves to our Mentorship platform soon.

We're building a dedicated app — mentorship.crestmashub.com — for scheduling sessions, tracking goals and messaging your mentor. Until it launches, requests go through the contact form.

FAQ

Common questions.

Yes — every CIDDA Academy learner is paired with a mentor as part of their program. Mentorship is also available on its own for people not enrolled in a full path.

Most mentees meet their mentor for 30–60 minutes a week, plus asynchronous feedback on work submitted between sessions.

You can tell us your preferred focus area (e.g. eLearning authoring tools, LMS administration, curriculum design) and we'll match accordingly, availability permitting.

No. Working professionals and career-changers can request standalone mentorship — reach out via the contact page and tell us your goals.
